2004 Tantalizing Chardonnay

Tantalizing Chardonnay

A bright, fruit-driven wine with a crisp acid kick, makes this a beautifully drinkable Chardonnay. Pale straw with attractive green hues, the wine’s lifted aromas of pear and tropical fruit burst out of the glass. Subtle bass notes of smoky barrel ferment and vanilla oak add depth to the fruit. On the palate, a bowlful of ripe melon, pear and green apple flavors harmonize with balanced oak and a welcome crispness. The wine’s elegant balance makes it a food-friendly complement to a wide variety of dishes.

Cost: $ 23.00 each, $ 240.00 per case of 12

Tantalizing Chardonnay Wine Information

*** WineWeb Test Data ***
The grapes for this wine come from a small parcel located just south of the winery. The vines are 60 years old and consistently produce some amazing fruit. This 60 year-old vineyard was left unfarmed for several years until Test Vineyards revived and re-planted parts of the vineyard in 1989. The cool coastal site produces an exquisite French style chardonnay.
